Some of the things we hope not to miss in the next seven days

I will finish McCartney: the hunt for the lost bass, about the mysterious disappearance and recovery of Paul McCartney's first bass, a Höfner 500/1 bought in Hamburg in 1961 for only 30 pounds. This marvel sounded on the original recordings of Love me do, she loves you and the early Beatles classics. A road movie musical about the greatest pop group of all time.

I will listen to Arribar a sa lluna, by the Mallorcan Escórpora & l’Acqua Frizzante. It has been difficult, but my summer song has finally arrived, an artifact with the air of Magnetic Fields with the Mediterranean additions of Remigi Palmero or Antònia Font. Behind this genius we find Xavier Garcia, guitarist of the disappeared and missed Da Souza.

I will visit the exhibition Technology [in]visible, at the Palau Robert. With the magnificent exhibition design by the Catalan agency Gracias Grecia, we will take a journey through the past, present, and future of technology, within the framework of the twenty years of the Mobile World Congress. A show full of surprises curated by Genís Roca.

Notes on what we have seen, heard, tasted, and, in short, experienced in the last seven days

I have bought the book Las almas feroces by Marie Vingtras because summer is the best time of year to read crime novels. This French author has a legion of followers and on this occasion she delves into the dark side of deep America to try to solve the murder of a teenager. 

I have booked tickets for the new planetarium at CosmoCaixa. It is a new planetarium about eclipses designed as an immersive experience for the whole family that will allow us to learn all the details of this August's eclipse, but also of those that will occur in 2027 and 2028. They will explain to us how eclipses are produced and what they have meant to different cultures around the world.

I have started Dalgliesh, a series you can watch on Filmin, where three seasons have been released at once. It is the impeccable adaptation of P. D. James's books about this detective who is also a poet and who solves crimes and mysteries in 1970s England. A treat for lovers of British series and thrillers. 

I haven't been able to stop thinking about the products from the Entrelatas shop, on Torrijos street in Barcelona, where they make an art out of preserves. You will find top-quality products there, from classic sardines to very original combinations, but also wines and vermouths. And if you're up for it, they also organize tastings.
