The challenges of electric mobility under debate in Girona

The European Union will soon ban the sale of combustion-powered cars and vans. Are we prepared? Are we deploying the necessary infrastructure? Are we adopting electric cars at the necessary pace? These questions will be discussed in a debate organized by the ARA (Spanish Association of Energy and Transport Companies) by the CEO of Bassols Energia, Roger Segura; partner and co-director of Audit Energia, Llorenç Albanell; and Dani Pérez, coordinator of the Electromobility Working Group at the CEEC and head of strategy and innovation at Km0 Energy. The debate will be moderated by Mariona Ferrer, a journalist from the ARA (Spanish Association of Energy and Transport Companies).
Contemporary live arts at the festival The People Won't Like This
PLACE: Lloret, Salt and Celrà / DATE: May 30 and 31
The Esto al Poble No Le Guesá Festival, dedicated to contemporary performing arts, brings several shows to Lloret de Mar, Salt, and Celrà. Among other offerings, the following are scheduled in Lloret de Mar at the Municipal Theater: Romantic dances, from Montdedutor. In Salt there will be workshops on the creation and programming of live arts at the Ateneo Popular and the Canal. In Celrà, the festival has scheduled, among others, the rehearsal of The stones will call, from Urati Laboratori, at the headquarters of Animal a la Espalda.
The Aplec dels Quatre Rius in Girona
PLACE: Girona River Environments / DATE: May 31 and June 1
The Aplec dels Quatre Rius organizes recreational and advocacy activities such as bird-ringing and bird-watching workshops on the Ter, routes through the Onyar and Galligants rivers, waste collection, and the creation of bat boxes.
New book by Francesc Garcia Rafanell

The lawyer and humanist Francesc Garcia Rafanell presents his new book, We, the Catalans, in which he reflects, with a critical and committed perspective, on the Catalan reality, its history, and the challenges of the future.
It is Poetry full of Espolla poetic activities
PLACE: Espolla / DATE: May 31st from 11am
The Espolla es Poesía festival fills this Alto Empordà town with poetic activities. A concert by Esther Farga in the square will open the day, followed by a poetry trail through the town with several poets and rhapsodes. In the afternoon, there will be a recital called "Espoesía" at the Bodega Cooperativa, and in the evening, a rural dinner with a performance by Jesús Fernández.
