Christmas concert by the Cor Geriona at the Auditori de Girona

With the Christmas carol cycle Our ChristmasThis year, the Cor Geriona choir presents a very special concert dedicated to the Girona-born composer Francesc Civil. Featuring some pieces less familiar to the general public, the concert aims to highlight the rich local musical heritage and give voice to a sensitive, intimate choral work deeply rooted in our tradition. A musical offering designed to move the audience, celebrate Christmas, and pay tribute to a composer who is part of Girona's musical soul.
Christmas Recreation in Elna, Roussillon
LOCATION: Elna / DATE: December 19-21
For three days, Elna will host a magical park with everything free of charge. Rides, games, workshops, the traditional Tió de Nadal log, street performances, and illuminated structures will all be on offer. There will also be a small craft market, Santa's mailbox, and numerous other activities. Local associations will provide snacks and food, and a fireworks display will light up the sky on Saturday. On the 26th and 27th, there will be hot chocolate and mulled wine, performances by Select Aïoli, the music school choir, the Sense Veus choir, and the habanera group Albera Indians.

Comics have served as a mirror of reality, capable of capturing societal changes and evolving models of imagination. This exhibition offers a journey through some of the best comics in history and delves into their production process.
Concert in Olot by the GIO Symphonia
VENUE: Teatro Principal de OIot / DATE: December 20th at 8pm
Inspired by the Central European tradition of salon orchestras, the program combines well-known compositions with hidden gems in a light, elegant, and deeply moving atmosphere. The repertoire ranges from danceable tunes to classical pieces, film scores, and more popular tunes. The GIO Symphonia is a versatile orchestral project that, after thirteen years, has embarked on a new chapter under the artistic direction of Francesc Prat, aiming to transcend conventional musical experiences and offer truly unique listening opportunities.
Barbies of all kinds at the Toy Museum
LOCATION: Toy Museum of Catalonia in Figueres / DATE: Until March 8
The Figueres-based couple Llobet-Tomàs own more than five thousand dolls, one of the most important collections in Europe. This collection includes more than two thousand Barbies, with all kinds of outfits and accessories. The Toy Museum of Catalonia in Figueres is exhibiting a selection of these Barbies until early March. Admission is free.
