There is no doubt that for politicians on the campaign trail, going on friendly programs (which represent what going to markets used to be) helps them. It shows us a friendly face. “Look, this one also has teenage children like me, he also likes football like me...” Going to programs like La revuelta works well for them to reach people who watch them and do not watch conventional television, nor read newspapers. These people may be abstentionists and, upon hearing Rufián talk about “comer culo” or Montero say that (forgive me, as I am quoting from memory, and I am not translating due to the sonority of the original Spanish version: "it is hard to find a guy who eats your pussy well"), (forgive me, as I am quoting from memory, and I am not translating due to the sonority of the original Spanish version), they think that the electoral platform they have does not matter, but that they are “buddies”.

This works well until there is a catastrophe like the one that moves us these days; a train accident caused by human error that stems from many other human errors. Then these politicians speaking about this come to mind. Speaking about things that you talk about today, eating chestnuts and laughing with your own. This is not their fault, nor the host's, of course not, but in a tragic moment, you cannot help but remember them saying these phrases.
