They shoot to death in the hospital in Tarragona a man admitted for a previous shooting

BarcelonaA man died this morning after being executed with a firearm while he was admitted to the Joan XXIII Hospital in Tarragona. The victim is a man who had already suffered a shooting last October 16th in Salou and had been hospitalized because of it. At that time, he was walking down the street and was attacked by several people who got out of a car. He received numerous bullet impacts.
The Mossos d'Esquadra received the alert this morning at 3:15 AM and several patrols were dispatched to the medical center, where they located the seriously injured victim. Despite the medical assistance received, the man ended up dying. He is a man of foreign origin, from Turkey, who was in Catalonia on vacation.
The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Mossos has taken charge of the investigation to determine the circumstances of the events. The case is under a secrecy order and, for the moment, the police have not provided further details about the attack.
The Medical Emergency System (SEM) has activated a psychological support team to assist the center's healthcare professionals.
