The Xarxa Vives, which coordinates 22 universities in the Catalan domain and represents 530,000 people, has joined the National Language Pact. For the regional ministry, it is key to "the training of linguistically competent professionals, the generation of terminology, and the dissemination of scientific knowledge in Catalan."
