Casa Pepi: your vintage food spot in Clot

With my group of friends this place is a consensus restaurant that when we go it is a success: it is the Pepi House and is located in the Clot neighborhood of Barcelona. We always leave happy thanks to its good cuisine, which is vintage But it's made with a modern twist, and its attentive staff makes sure my friend Eva never goes without a cold beer. Its modern yet retro aesthetic is a balance nailed by its owners, the Amiks Group, and which is also found in another successful restaurant they own, Bar Pimentel, in Barcelona's Born district.
But while Pimentel attracts the attention of tourists, who constantly take pictures of it, Casa Pepi goes more unnoticed because it's located in a busy but non-touristy area. Its dishes, such as tuna-stuffed eggs, flamenquín, open tortillas, the Barceloneta bomba (which includes pine nuts), or broad beans with egg, poached And rostes are dishes that come straight from the kitchen and delight their regular customers. They're also very proud of their caramelized fish liver with apple. They also have a good selection of natural or minimally processed wines.
The restaurant is located on a pedestrian street (Acequia Condal, number 7) and has a pleasant terrace. And if not, the place is always very pleasant. It's important to keep in mind—and when going in a group, this factor should always be considered because everyone has their own budget—that the prices are very reasonable, and you can dine well without paying a fortune.
