The meteorological summer ends with very stable and calm weather

BarcelonaThe mercury rose above 35 ℃ again this Sunday, after a fairly cool night everywhere, although less so than Saturday. The temperature will remain with few changes this week, with controlled heat, without excesses, and the weather will also not experience significant changes. On the horizon there is no early autumn storm, but neither is there any out-of-season heatwave.

Monday: few changes

The week begins very calmly, with a Monday dominated by the sun and still with a high temperature. However, there will already be some intervals of low clouds between the central and southern coast, and during the afternoon, cloudiness will reappear in parts of the Pyrenees. Only a few scattered showers are expected in the Ripollès, Osona, and Berguedà areas, with little extent and intensity. The mercury will relax a bit at midday, with shorter highs.

In this regard, Meteocat has issued a danger warning for rain intensity this Monday afternoon. The warning, of a very low level, affects Ripollès, Osona, Garrotxa, Berguedà, and Lluçanès.

Tuesday: more clouds

We will start the month of September with few changes, on a Tuesday with more intervals of clouds, which will advance from south to north as the hours pass. During the afternoon, more scarce showers could form in mountainous areas of the northern half, although no large accumulations of rain are expected. The temperature will remain stable, with tropical minimums on the coast and maximums of 28 ℃ to 33 ℃ in a large part of the country.
