Sunday with sun and even more heat

BarcelonaThe mercury has again exceeded 35 ℃ this Saturday, after a quite cool early morning everywhere, even on the coast. The week will end with a very calm Sunday with no new developments, marked by a temperature that will tend to rise progressively and by a sun that, although it has already lost many minutes compared to the end of June, is still the protagonist.

Sunday: 36 ℃ return

The anticyclone will maintain its absolute domain on Sunday, with weather dominated by the presence of the sun, good news for those who want to enjoy the beach or outdoor activities on the last weekend of August. However, there will be some low clouds around the Ebro Delta. The temperature will rise a little more and could once again exceed 35 ℃ or 36 ℃ in Ponent and in parts of the interior of the Girona regions.

Monday: few changes

Next week will begin very calmly, with a Monday dominated by the sun and still with an elevated temperature. However, there will already be some intervals of low clouds between the central and southern coast. Between Tuesday and Wednesday we could have symptoms of atmospheric instability, with showers and some thunderstorms, although in no case is an episode of abundant or general rain expected.
