At least four injured in a hit-and-run and multiple stabbing near a Manchester synagogue

The attack happened at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue in Crumpsall, Greater Manchester Police said. One of the victims alerted police at 9:30 a.m. to the worship center, located on Middleton Road in Crumpsall. The man said he had seen a car hitting people and that a man had been stabbed.
A police cordon was established in the area following the incident and a main road in Manchester was closed while officers responded. Paramedics are at the scene. Counter-terrorism police and MI5, the security service that covers the UK, have joined the investigation.
