A fire in the Devesa del Saler forces the closure of the CV-500 and the displacement of residents
The Valencia City Council has enabled the Alqueria del Bàsquet and the Fonteta de Sant Lluís for those affected
ValenciaSmoke in the Gola de Pujol area, in El Saler, has alerted firefighters who have had to evacuate Tower 1 of the Aparwaks urbanization as a precaution. Twelve fire brigades have been deployed and seven Generalitat resources have joined them.
After the CECOPAL, it has been decided to evacuate the residents of the town of El Saler and the campsites near the fire zone, in addition to closing the CV-500. The Valencia City Council has activated a device to transport people who cannot move themselves by EMT buses.
Given this scenario, the Emergency Coordination Center has raised the situation to level 2 and an Es Alert has been sent to the affected population. For those displaced, the Alqueria del Bàsquet, which was already used during the Dana of 2024, and the Fonteta de Sant Lluís have been made available.
