BarcelonaBosnian Serb general Ratko Mladić, who was serving a life sentence for genocide in the bloody Bosnian War of 1992-95, has died at the age of 85 at the United Nations detention center in The Hague, as reported this Thursday by Informer TV of Belgrade. He had been convicted of "genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes" by the International Criminal Tribunal, which considered him militarily responsible for the siege of Sarajevo and the Srebrenica massacre, in which more than 8,000 civilians died.
