The Oques Grasses Pyromusical: Josep Montero will choose the songs for the Mercè show

BarcelonaJosep Montero, the leader of the group Oques Grasses, will be in charge of choosing the songs for the Mercè Pyromusical, which this year will not be held in Montjuïc as in previous editions, but at Nova Icària beach. According to the Barcelona City Council, for the show that will take place on September 27th as the closing of the city's main festival, Montero has prepared "an eclectic playlist with a proposal open to various styles and sensibilities, and with a prominent presence of Catalan music". As usual, the songs will be revealed as they are played on the night of the Pyromusical.

The musical mix has been handled by designer and sound technician Marçal Cruz, from the Oido studio, and Pirotècnia Igual will be in charge of the design of the show's fireworks, which will be launched in sync with the music. In the previous three years, the musical selection for the Pyromusical was made by Festival Sónar, Rosalía, and Estopa.

Montero will be the protagonist of the Mercè Pyromusical a week before the four farewell concerts of the group Oques Grasses, which will fill the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium on October 5, 7, 9, and 10.
