Barcelona City Council estimates the cost of cleaning and repairs for incidents caused by the heavy rains at the beginning of October at 26 million euros. According to Deputy Mayor Laia Bonet, these are investments to guarantee the passage of buses, cleaning vehicles, and residents, and to secure slopes and retaining walls.
