WashingtonThe President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced this Friday that he is about to make his "final decision" on Iran. “I will now meet in the Situation Room to make a final decision”, he published on his social network, Truth Social, where he also hinted at some of his main demands.

a 60-day ceasefire extensiona 60-day ceasefire extension, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the commitment to initiate talks on Iran's nuclear program.

“Iran must accept that it will never have a nuclear weapon or bomb. The Strait of Hormuz must be opened immediately, without tolls, for unrestricted maritime traffic in both directions. All mines (bombs), if any, must be eliminated (we have eliminated many through detonations with our minesweepers)”, Trump wrote in his publication.

In addition, the president assures that the ships “trapped” in the strait will be released thanks to him, and states that Iran's enriched uranium will be unearthed by the United States “in coordination with Iran” and “DESTROYED”. “No money will be exchanged until further notice”, he said regarding Iranian assets frozen in the United States.
