Police are investigating a ramp used for daredevil bike jumps between Badalona and Moncada.
To jump, a ramp would have been installed and part of the road protection fence would have been removed.

BarcelonaThis Sunday, several videos of a cyclist jumping off an improvised ramp went viral on social media. The jump in question had been recorded on the Vallensana road, a road that connects Badalona and Montcada i Reixac through the Marina mountain range. Local police in both municipalities are already investigating the incident, after a jump ramp was installed and part of the road's protective fence was removed to facilitate the jumper's descent from the landing zone.
The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police) and the Barcelona Provincial Council, which manages the Cordillera de Marina park, have also inspected the area and verified that the ramp has already been removed. The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police) also assure that they have not received any complaints in this regard and that they have reported the situation to the Catalan Traffic Service. They are also maintaining surveillance tasks to prevent such an action from happening again, given that other ramps have been detected in the forest area.
In the videos collected by All of Badalona You can see how the crowd in the area had stopped traffic to clear the road at the moment of the jump. You can also see how the jumper struggled to withstand the impact and fell to the ground. However, it is currently unknown whether he suffered any injuries.
