MadridThe proposal for a broad left-wing front launched by Gabriel Rufián has shaken national politics. The proof is the expectation it generated at the event he held in Madrid a few weeks ago. They are followed by 84.7% of Sumar's electorate and 76.8% of the PSOE's. Surprisingly, there are also almost 60% of Junts voters who view it favorably.

The majority of respondents across the country approve of the ERC spokesperson in Congress with an average score of 5.7. ERC voters are the ones who give him the best score, 8.2; ahead of Sumar voters, who give him 7.2, and PSOE voters, who rate him 7.1. Junts voters give him a 6.8, even though Rufián is the ERC figure who most confronts Carles Puigdemont's party, especially with Junts spokesperson in Madrid, Míriam Nogueras. If we break down his rating by region, where he receives the highest rating is in the Basque Country, with a 7, ahead of Catalonia, where he is rated 6.6. In third place are the Canary Islands, which rate him an average of 6.3. In Madrid, he just passes with a 5.1, the same as in Andalusia (5.2).

Regarding Rufián's proposal itself, 63.7% of respondents believe that "the advance of the far right" would be stopped by a joint left-wing candidacy, as Rufián proposes. On the other hand, the republican spokesperson loses support with the idea that, in each province, the left-wing party of the PSOE that has the most support should present itself – as he explained at the Madrid event a few weeks ago –: 42.9% of respondents support this. On the other hand, 84.5% of people argue that the left must address issues such as security and immigration, and 63% are in favor of banning the burqa.
