Feijóo defends banning the burqa and niqab, but not the hijab

PP leader Feijóo stated in a statement to Europa Press that his party supports "banning" the burqa and the niqab, which only expose the eyes, in public spaces, but not the Islamic veil, the hijab, "because it does not violate women's dignity or safety."
