The defense of Eugenio Pino, who was deputy operational director of the Spanish police from 2012 to 2016, has discredited Operation Kitchen: “It does not exist. It is an invention either by the press or baptized by Mr. Villarejo or the interpretation of Mr. Villarejo's words by the press,” he said.
