BarcelonaThe Lux Tour is arguably Rosalía's most ambitious tour to date. Everything is meticulously planned, including the wardrobe. Now that the singer has started the North American leg of the tour, she has decided to make changes to some of the outfits she wears, and the novelties have arrived from Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Dior, who has created four exclusive looks for her that were already seen at the concert she gave in Boston. The French house has shared several videos on Instagram showing the creative process and allowing us to see Rosalía trying on the outfits she will wear in the concerts she still has to perform. It should be remembered that since 2024 Rosalía has been a global ambassador for Dior.

Two of the looks that Anderson has designed for Rosalía are entirely framed within the aesthetic of the album Lux, heavily marked by spirituality. The first proposal is an ivory-colored knitted top with a round neck and a ballerina tutu made of organza and embroidered with leaf-shaped medallions decorated with sequins. This is the styling with which Rosalía opens the concert. The second proposal is a cape shaped like wings, made of organza and feathers. This element is complemented by ivory satin bra and shorts that appear to be made of scales.

Leaving aside these two celestial

looks, Anderson has created two more outfits: a tight black Napoleonic-style dress and a black satin tricorn hat that is part of Dior's spring-summer 2026 collection, and a palatine-inspired dress with straps, open at the front and made with strips of lead-blue satin.

Jonathan Anderson's career

Born in 1984 in Northern Ireland, Jonathan Anderson has been the creative director of Dior since 2025, but his career is full of successes prior to his signing with the historic French house. This aspiring actor began to develop his interest in fashion in New York, where he moved when he was 18 years old to train as an actor at the prestigious Juilliard School. After graduating from the London College of Fashion, he began working for Prada doing visual merchandising tasks. Three years later, he launched his own menswear brand, JW Anderson.

His career is full of successes: in 2013 he was appointed creative director of the Spanish house Loewe, where he stayed for 11 years. In parallel to his work in this luxury firm, he developed collections for a much more accessible clothing company for all audiences, Uniqlo, a firm with which he still continues to collaborate. In the same way that he continues to work with the Japanese company, he also continues to create collections for his personal brand. Regarding his work at the helm of Dior, Anderson has achieved the feat of being the first creative director in the history of the house to oversee both men's and women's collections.

Before joining Rosalía, Anderson has also participated in events that are already part of pop culture: he designed the red dress with which Rihanna announced her second pregnancy during the 2023 Super Bowl and he did the wardrobe for the film Rivals, starring Zendaya and Josh O'Connor. In fact, O'Connor is a kind of muse for Anderson: the designer chose him as the face of Loewe and the collaboration has continued in the new era at Dior.

Rosalía is not the only Catalan connection Anderson has. His partner is the Catalan artist Pol Anglada, who has actively participated in some of the designer's creations.
