BarcelonaA new event is back for food lovers. Barcelona is gearing up for another edition of the so-called gastronomic Black Friday, Foodie Black Week 2025. From October 27th to November 2nd, more than 450 restaurants, bars, hotels, cocktail lounges, and food markets in the metropolitan area will offer special menus and discounts. The event, now in its third year, is supported by public and private entities and aims to celebrate the city's culinary diversity and support the restaurant industry.

The hundreds of participating establishments are spread across Barcelona, ​​Sant Cugat del Vallès, Hospitalet de Llobregat, Badalona, ​​Santa Coloma de Gramenet, and Castelldefels, offering a wide range of culinary options. Foodie Black Week is designed as an urban festival for everyone: from cocktails and tasting menus to appetizers, burgers, pizzas, and more. The experience will also allow you to sample various international cuisines.

Menus and discounts for a limited time

What will the prices be like during Foodie Black Week? For example, during the festival, cocktail lovers can enjoy a St. Germain Spritz at Foxy Bar for €7.50 or a Patrón Paloma cocktail with patatas bravas for €12.50 at Juanitos. Those looking for a bite can find a vermouth with a half portion of patatas bravas at La Esquinica for €5 or a small beer with a sardine or bacon toast at Collonut for €5. If you're looking for a more substantial meal, Zafra Pizzeria Ristorante offers an Italian menu with focaccia, lasagna or pizza, an Aperol Spritz, and tiramisu for €20 per person. La Burguesa will be serving their signature burger. smokey with homemade fries and a soft drink for €10.90. If you prefer fish, at L'Adresse you can enjoy a sushi plate with a cocktail for €20. And if, instead, you'd like to take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy a tasting menu, Assalto Bar de Vins will offer one paired with wines from the Penedès DO for €55.

Mexico, guest country of this edition

This year's edition is dedicated to Mexico, represented by the states of Puebla and Jalisco. The country will play a central role in the gastronomic festival, both through the participating establishments and the various cultural and business activities that will take place.
