Who are the most defaulting taxpayers with the Generalitat?

BarcelonaYosef Faradji continues to be the most indebted taxpayer with the Generalitat. This person, of whom further details are unknown, already headed the list of individuals and legal entities that have debts with the Catalan public coffers last year. The amount owed has gone from 52.3 million euros a year ago to 65.2 million now as a consequence of accumulating interest. The main debtor among companies also does not change, bingo PlayBadalona, with 8.3 million, which has reduced its burden in the last year by one million euros.

After Faradji, the next individual taxpayer who owes the most to the Tax Agency of Catalonia (ATC) is Jordi Dalmau Orriols, with 9.6 million, followed by Adrià Camp Buendía, with 4.5 million. Among companies, after PlayBadalona, are Riera de Cabanyes Companyia d'Aigües, with 8.2 million, and Rec Madral, Companyia d'Aigües, with 7.9 million.

In total, this list – which includes taxpayers with outstanding debts exceeding 600,000 euros as of December 31, 2025 – lists 60 debtors, two more than last year, with a total debt and pending sanctions of 184.3 million, an increase of more than 20%.

The publication of this list does not take into account actions that debtors may have taken related to the payment of debts and sanctions after December 31, except in cases where full payment of the amount that led to their inclusion in the list has been proven.
