Santander closes the operation to buy the US bank Webster

Banco Santander closed this Thursday the operation for the purchase of the United States bank Webster, as confirmed in a filing with the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). The bank estimates that the purchase will generate earnings per share of between 7% and 8%.
