Nokia prepares to almost completely abandon China due to the rise of local rivals

Nokia is preparing to exit China almost entirely, where it once had its main global market. The Finnish company plans to drastically reduce its workforce and close most of its facilities before the end of the year, amid a loss of business to local manufacturers.
