The meteorological autumn arrives with more clouds, but without rain

BarcelonaThe mercury once again exceeded 35 ℃ this Monday, as it did over the weekend, but overall the temperature remained around 29 ℃ to 33 ℃. These are typical values for the end of August that will also accompany us during the beginning of September, with heat that could intensify further from mid-week. On the horizon, there is no early autumn rainstorm, but also no extreme off-season heatwave.

Tuesday: more clouds

We will start the month of September with few changes, on a Tuesday with more intervals of clouds, which will advance from south to north as the hours go by and will leave the sky overcast or partly cloudy during the central hours of the day. However, they will only leave some isolated showers on the southern coast. The temperature will remain stable or even drop a little, with tropical lows on the coast and highs of 28 ℃ to 33 ℃ in a large part of the country.

Wednesday: new thermal ascent

The week will advance with few changes, with a Wednesday with many more sunny spells everywhere and with a temperature that will clearly rise. The minimum will already rise during the early morning, with more tropical minimums on the pre-littoral and in areas of Ponent, but the maximum will rise notably in some cases. This thermal rise will also continue on Thursday and Friday, when the temperature could exceed 35 ℃ or 36 ℃ in many inland areas.
