PongoTodo: three young people, an idea and an awarded entrepreneurship project
Just over five months ago they were awarded by BBVA at ScrapWorld, the largest urban fashion and digital culture event in Spain. PongoTodo is an example of how a good idea, with talent and perseverance, can become a business opportunity.
The creative project PongoTodo was born in Barcelona a year and eight months ago at the hands of three young people with an idea and a desire to start a business. At just 21 years old, its three partners have managed to consolidate a business project that has been recognized with 'La Base Awards Young Entrepreneurs 2026', the initiative that BBVA and ScrapWorld promote with the aim of supporting young entrepreneurship and accompanying creative projects that are transforming consumption models, fashion, and digital culture.
In a context where access to strategic showcases and specialized advice can make a difference, the program seeks to contribute to the growth of new businesses. ScrapWorld, the largest urban fashion and digital culture event in Spain, offers emerging projects a space for visibility, new sales channels, and support, which is key during the initial phases of business consolidation.
Behind PongoTodo are Lara Hernansanz Gutiérrez, Guillem Solans Peiró, and Arnau Fernandez Ochoa. The first two come from the EINA School and Arnau from the world of 3D. All three met at Disseny Market Barcelona, where their entrepreneurial adventure began to take shape. "Lara and Guillem were there with their lamps. I liked the product they made and I offered to help them," explains Arnau.
Since then, the project has not stopped growing and accumulating recognition. On July 22nd, they received the Silver Delta in the Lighting category of the Delta Awards 2026, organized by ADI-FAD, one of the most relevant industrial design awards in Spain.
Born in Barcelona, PongoTodo proposes a new way of understanding decorative lighting with pieces that combine design, functionality, and emotional component. Its first collection, Petits Fours, features lamps with their own identity, local manufacturing, and modular elements that allow the product to be adapted to each user's preferences.
The brand positions itself in an intermediate space between inaccessible design and mass-market decorative offerings, with a proposal that seeks to cover a double need. On the one hand, to create warm atmospheres with personality; on the other, to offer an object with meaning. This approach responds to a market opportunity where generic proposals and high-priced designer options coexist, and where PongoTodo introduces an alternative within the world of design.
"There is no better experience than creating your own company. It makes you gain knowledge and you should never be afraid of the procedures that need to be done. Entrepreneurship is exciting and, the more entrepreneurship, the more wealth. We have believed through design", pointed out Arnau at the meeting organized by theARA and published in the newspaper on July 25th to talk about entrepreneurship from the perspective of advice, innovation, and expert support.
