Stones fell on them and both were critically injured
BarcelonaOne of the two climbers who was in critical condition after being hit by several rocks on Saturday while climbing a route in Montserrat has died, according to sources from the hospital where he was admitted, Vall d'Hebron, to the ACN.
The deceased victim was accompanied by a climber who is still in critical condition at Bellvitge Hospital. Both climbers are 30 years old. Firefighters received the alert at 4:30 p.m. from a third person who found a man and a woman unconscious near the route, which is close to the Can Jorba car park.
