The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) are investigating the violent death of a 37-year-old man last night in Badalona. Around 1:00 a.m., the Catalan police received a call reporting a person seriously injured at a bar in the city. The Mossos d'Esquadra went to the scene along with an ambulance. Although paramedics attempted to resuscitate the man, they were unable to save his life.
The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Mossos d'Esquadra's North Metropolitan Police Region has taken charge of the investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident. The case is currently under seal.
