The forensic laboratory of the Institute of Legal Medicine of Catalonia quadruples the cases analyzed of sexual violence in 10 years

The forensic laboratory of the Institute of Legal Medicine of Catalonia has quadrupled the cases of sexual violence it analyzes in the last 10 years. Of the total of 6,733 cases registered in the year 2025, almost 1,400 were for sexual assaults. 10 years ago this figure was 339 cases.
