After containing the Blocus calls scheduled for Saturday in Barcelona, the net continues to tighten to end this phenomenon. This Sunday, Barcelona's Examining Magistrate's Court number 14 decreed provisional, communicated, and no-bail prison for a detainee identified as the "ideologue" of the riots and looting that took place in the Catalan capital a week ago. This is an 18-year-old youth arrested last Saturday who appeared before the judge this morning, and his imprisonment was decreed. The magistrate considers that there are "indications of conspiracy to commit disorder" in addition to the crime of belonging to a criminal group.

The Mossos d'Esquadra believe that several elements have played a major role in curbing the protests: the 130 people arrested on the first day of looting, the Telegram channels that have been shut down, the large-scale police operation with 2,264 identifications, and the boarded-up shops in the city center on Saturday. But, above all, the police point to the arrests of several youths who had incited others to rob shops in messaging groups. They believe this element has deterred both the online conversations prior to this weekend and the presence of youths on the streets of Barcelona today.

On Saturday, the judge of the Torrent court decreed provisional prison without bail for the youth arrested in Picanya (Valencia) for being the alleged founder and promoter of the Blocus movement in Spain, and the Mossos arrested a fourth person related to the movement in Catalonia: a 21-year-old youth in Cabrera d'Anoia as the alleged "instigator and dynamizer" of the group that incited the looting in the center of Barcelona. Furthermore, the minors' section of the Barcelona Court of Instance agreed to closed-regime internment for the minor arrested in Sant Sadurní this Friday.
