A man shoots and kills a woman in Zaragoza
This Saturday morning, news also broke of a man who shot and killed a woman in Zaragoza before taking his own life. The incident occurred in the street in the Las Fuentes neighborhood at approximately 9:30 a.m. As detailed by sources from the Government Delegation in Aragon to Europa Press, the man shot the woman and then himself; both died. The Government Delegate in Aragon, Fernando Beltrán, traveled to the scene, and the National Police are investigating the relationship between the man and the woman to determine if this is another case of gender-based violence. If confirmed as such, this would bring the number of women murdered by their partners or ex-partners in Spain this year to 14.
