Investigate alleged sexual assault between two minors under 13 in Tàrrega
The case has been referred to social services because the alleged perpetrator is not criminally responsible
BarcelonaThe Mossos d’Esquadra received a report on Sunday about an alleged sexual assault between two minors aged 13. The events took place over the weekend, in Tàrrega.
According to what the newspaper Segre has reported and ARA has confirmed through police sources, the alleged assault reportedly occurred at one in the morning on Sunday when a 13-year-old girl reported that she had been sexually assaulted by another minor of the same age.
Since the alleged perpetrator is under 14 and is therefore not criminally liable, the Mossos have transferred the case to the juvenile prosecutor's office and also to social services. It is these two bodies that will carry out the procedure to investigate and determine what happened, according to police sources told ARA.
