"He raped me": the woman arrested for the Calella crime claims self-defense
The judge sends her to provisional prison after she confessed to the crime.

Barcelona"I was stabbing him, and the son of a bitch wouldn't die. He had raped me several times." These were the words he uttered. The 25-year-old woman arrested for the death of a man in Calella while the Mossos d'Esquadra arrested him this Tuesday afternoon. The 69-year-old victim was found tied up and covered in plastic at home, with several stab wounds all over her body. As reported by ARA, the man and woman shared an apartment, and according to the author's version, she defended herself when he attempted to sexually assault her. "She claims to have done so in self-defense," the judge states in the ruling sending the detainee to pretrial detention.
The woman was a prostitute, as confirmed by the police after searching her cell phone. They also found messages in which she admitted responsibility for the crime. In fact, the woman also confessed to this during her statement. One of the reasons she's being sent to prison, aside from the seriousness of the charges and the lengthy sentences she faces, is the risk of flight, as she's in the country illegally. When the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) raided the apartment, they saw that she had packed her suitcase to leave. A few days earlier, she had already told those close to her that she wanted to leave. But in the end, she called the emergency services herself, alerting them about the man's lifeless body. She stayed in the apartment, and the Mossos d'Esquadra arrested her. in situ.
According to the provisional account of events, the woman allegedly stabbed the man in the neck while he was sleeping, and then stabbed him 181 more times. After the murder, she sent messages and photographs showing him around her, and a few days earlier she had already mentioned her desire to end her roommate's life, but that she didn't dare do it. The case is open for one count of murder.
