In 2027, Barcelona will test AI to adapt traffic lights to real-time traffic. The companies Kapsch and Acisa, winners of the Barcelona Innova Lab Mobility, will each receive 100,000 euros to conduct tests for four months at various intersections, as announced at the Smart City Expo World Congress.
