The Hollywood actor showed up at this small establishment, located at 53 Carrer Blai in Poble-sec, on the recommendation of the hotel where he was staying. He did so without a reservation, to the amazement of the entire restaurant team. The actor from films such as The Bourne Identity (2002) and Good Will Hunting (1997) dined at Denassus, which specializes in tapas. Before leaving, the crew asked him for a photo to immortalize the moment. Damon also offered to leave a note for Mailan after being told that he had left early and missed their arrival at Denassus. "Fuck off, Alejo. You need to work harder," the actor jokingly wrote to the restaurateur.

Since it opened six years ago, Denassus has seen actors and people from the entertainment world who work primarily in theaters on the Paral·lel. The gastronomic offering focuses on market and seasonal offerings, with a focus on freshly caught fish and meat from the Basque Country.
