The house was to be Rauw Alejandro's wedding gift to the Catalan singer, after the couple got engaged in March 2022. But the promise of love was broken three months later when they decided to go their separate ways, as Rosalía made known through her posts on Instagram. With the breakup, the singer's promise to Rosalía to give her the mansion also vanished.
