Piranhas to the right
There is a radiant, luminous moment, a moment when the surrounding air becomes soft and consistent like cream cheese. The moment dreamed of by every humorist, by every lover of that curious obsession that is wanting to make people laugh. The moment in which someone believes your joke.
It happened to me, with all the people who, a thousand years ago, made a program of fake reports on TV3, which was called Herois quotidians. In one of the fake reports, a “right-wing” singer-songwriter appeared. The aesthetic could remind you of Paco Ibáñez, but the songs were called Colegio religioso or Tú lo sospechas, soy de derechas. Well, the wonderful and very charming pundit Curry Valenzuela glossed over his figure, because, of course, why couldn't there be right-wing singer-songwriters.
The moment of this legislature, without a doubt, was a couple of years ago for the influencer from Asturias, El Pruvianu, who on his X account asked —humorously— the government about the piranhas in the Sella river. And, just as the comedian himself has recalled these days on social media, Vox deputy José María Figaredo asked a parliamentary question about these piranhas. We must not forget it, now that elections are coming. He wanted to know the number of specimens and how they could be controlled. I would like Curry and José María to meet one day to chat about their things.
