The US Department of Justice has released three million pages, 180,000 images, and 2,000 videos related to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. All this material has been made public because the law requires it, but after the deadline and, according to the lawyer for the victims of this serial rapist, poorly. Because some of the victims' names have also been revealed. And yet they claim that the censorship in all this documentation is precisely to protect them. Judicial blunders are international. And so is sexism.
Epstein associated with practically everyone who was "anybody" at the time he was building his network. Some names are more surprising than others, some emails more explicit than others, and images like those of former Prince Andrew of England kneeling next to a young woman (not to mention a minor) are so repugnant that any condemnation of the man is insufficient. But are all the people associated with Epstein pedophiles and rapists? Linguist Noam Chomsky, who appears in a photo on one of Epstein's private jets and in several conversations, was he part of the group provided with girls for sex? There's no proof. Out of respect for this intellectual, we want to believe he wasn't, but precisely for that same reason, we don't want to see how Chomsky interacted with a man like Epstein, even if only to discuss politics or economics. Evidence of the relationship exists. As with so many others. Chomsky is not physically able to speak about it, and we won't clarify it. Bill Gates, the philanthropist, has spoken out. The story of Gates and the alleged sexually transmitted disease related to his divorce—it seems it was one of the causes—and his recent statements saying he was "foolish" to associate with Epstein. Then, of course, he adds that the serial rapist's claims about him are "absolutely absurd and totally false." All of this says a lot about this... framework Built by a predator who wasn't alone. And it also says a lot about how we weave our environments.
I'm convinced that many people who were associated with Epstein didn't commit any sexual offenses. In the same way, I'm sure we can't vouch for many people we know, nor can we trust the supposedly innocent who claim "it's all fake" and have a profile as tyrannical as Trump's. When credibility is weak, it's also for a reason. And Trump only speaks out loud when it suits him. Like when it suited him to insult a CNN journalist who asked him a question about the Epstein case, and he dodged the question to flatter her with "I've never seen him smile." Because in Trump's universe, women must laugh; otherwise, we're bitter. But not a peep about Epstein. Like some time ago, when another journalist also asked him about the pedophile and received a "shut up, piggy" from the US president. Silent and smiling. This is the perfect image of women for Trump. And if they protest against ICE, they're dead. Certainly, there's no evidence of sexual crimes against the US president, but verbal crimes against women are piling up in the Oval Office. And the worst part: he still wields all the power.
People like Epstein are great con artists. And many people are easy prey for the power and wealth that deceives, which doesn't change the fact that the sexual predator associated with other sexual predators and that the victims will never see justice.
