The Catalan government is promoting a plan to strengthen Catalan in universities and research groups.

The Departments of Research and Universities and Language Policy have created a multidisciplinary group to assess the current state of the Plan for Strengthening the Catalan Language in the University and Research System (PEC) and advise on its update. The proposal is due in October.
