The former emir of Qatar, Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, dies at 74

The authorities and citizens of Qatar bid farewell this Sunday to the former Emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who died today at the age of 74, in a massive prayer at the country's national mosque, which was presided over by the ruler's son and current leader, Tamim bin Hamad.
