Sicily, again on alert due to the activity of the Etna volcano

The highest active volcano on the European plate, Etna, is once again on alert due to constant eruptive activity at the highest altitudes. The volcano remains under surveillance, with a "orange" alert for aviation – the second highest on the aeronautical scale – and "yellow" for the population.
