During the early morning, the Ukrainian Air Force had warned via Telegram of the arrival of Russian drones and missiles in the direction of Kyiv. Loud explosions were heard in the early hours of Monday.

On the eve of the NATO summit

The vigil, the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, had already warned that Russia was preparing a new massive attack against the country, after another bombing of these characteristics caused the death of 30 people in the Ukrainian capital last Thursday.

Zelensky also highlighted that the attack occurred just before the start of the annual NATO summit, which will be held this Tuesday and Wednesday in Turkey.
