Telefónica will stop being obliged to provide the fixed telephony and internet service

Telefónica will be able to stop mandatorily providing fixed telephony and internet access services. The National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC) has reported favorably on the draft order that removes Telefónica's status as a universal telecommunications operator.
