A North American fund assesses the purchase of EasyJet

North American fund Castlelake is studying an offer to acquire the airline EasyJet, which could value it at 3 billion pounds. The firm already holds 2.14% of the capital and proposes a minimum price of 403 pence per share. The British company has described the operation as "highly opportunistic".
