The week ends with sun and an increasingly intense heat

BarcelonaThe weather has remained very stable this Saturday, with some intervals of harmless clouds and a practically absolute dominance of the sun. The temperature has risen even further, both at dawn and during the central hours of the day, and there has been a controlled but more intense heat than in previous days. In fact, temperatures have grazed 33 °C in Ponent and inside the Ebro valley, a situation that will repeat on Sunday.

Sunday: warmer

Sunday will remain calm and sunny, and thermometers will rise more eagerly, with more marked heat in the middle of the day and some maximums that will locally reach 33 °C or 34 °C. Controlled heat, with a minimum temperature that will also rise clearly and will be tropical in many points of the coast. The cool morning atmosphere will, therefore, be more restricted to the Pyrenees and the Pre-Pyrenees.

The mercury will peak between Monday and Tuesday

The anticyclone will maintain its dominance over our region at the beginning of next week and the temperature will rise even further, creating a warm atmosphere, above the mid-September climatic average, although far from the values of a few days ago. Maximums will approach or exceed 35°C in Ponent, the Ebro valley, and the Girona regions, with sunny skies everywhere.
