The week ends with sun and an increasingly intense heat

BarcelonaThe weather remained very stable this Saturday, with some intervals of harmless clouds and a practically absolute dominance of the sun. The temperature rose even more, both at dawn and during the central hours of the day, with controlled but more intense heat than in previous days. In fact, it already brushed 33 °C in the West and in the interior of the Ebro valley, a situation that will be repeated this Sunday, which has begun with generally warm temperatures.

Sunday: hotter

Sunday will remain calm and sunny, and thermometers will rise more eagerly, with more marked heat in the middle of the day and some maximums that will locally already reach 33 °C or 34 °C. Controlled heat, with a minimum temperature that will also rise clearly and will be tropical in many parts of the coast. The cool morning atmosphere will, therefore, be more restricted to the Pyrenees and the Pre-Pyrenees.

The mercury will peak between Monday and Tuesday

The anticyclone will maintain its dominance in our region at the beginning of next week and the temperature will rise even further, leaving a warm environment, above the climatic average for mid-September, although far from the values of a few days ago. The maximums will approach or exceed 35°C in the West, the Ebro valley, and the Girona regions, with sunny skies everywhere.
