The passage of a front will leave widespread but scarce rains
The tramontana and mistral winds will strengthen at both ends of the country.
BarcelonaThis Saturday was a fairly quiet day, although we had some precipitation in the morning, which was quickly followed by clearing skies and a slightly warmer midday. However, during the night, rain will move in from the west and eventually affect all areas, leaving between 1 and 10 l/m² of precipitation overall, although more rain could occasionally fall in the eastern half. Furthermore, the drop in temperature will cause snow to fall on the high elevations of the Pyrenees. Remember that on Sunday, winter time will change, and it will return to 2 a.m. at 3 a.m.
Sunday: a bit of everything and a full autumn atmosphere
The weekend will end with a bit of everything. During the early morning and early morning, precipitation could fall in all regions, and as the hours pass, it will become concentrated along the coast. Light rain is expected, although some heavier showers are not ruled out between the regions of Barcelona and Girona. From midday and into the afternoon, the sun will shine, and little rain is expected in Catalonia, with some cloudy patches in the northeast and the Pyrenees. Temperatures will drop moderately, and, in fact, the lowest records of the day could occur later in the day.
Monday: The sun will gain ground at the start of the week.
The week will begin with once again more stable and calm weather: sunny throughout most parts and a few clouds, especially in the northeast. In fact, there could be some minor showers in this area. The wind will ease after a windy Sunday in the Empordà region and the south of the country, and temperatures will rise slightly again, although it will remain cool both day and night.
