BarcelonaAtlètic de Madrid and Barça face each other this Saturday at the Metropolitano (9 p.m.) on matchday 30 of La Liga. The blaugranes want to continue, at least, with a four-point lead at the top of the standings and once again make a statement in one of the most complicated grounds. Catalans and mattress makers will face each other in the first of three duels they will have in the next ten days. Besides the La Liga duel, the two teams will face each other in the quarterfinals of the Champions League with the first leg at Camp Nou (Wednesday, April 8 at 9 p.m.) and the second leg at the Metropolitano (Tuesday, April 14 at 9 p.m.). In between, Barça will play the La Liga derby against Espanyol (Saturday, April 11 at 6:30 p.m.).

Both Hansi Flick and Diego Pablo Simeone have suffered from the FIFA virus. The German coach has lost one of his key players, Raphinha, due to injury, but has recovered three players: Kounde, Balde, and Eric Garcia. On the other hand, Frenkie de Jong remains out, waiting to see if he can be included in the squad for the Champions League match. Christensen will also be out, as he continues to recover from his injury. As for Atlètic de Madrid, the Argentine coach will not be able to count on Marcos Llorente —suspended— nor on the injured Johnny Cardoso (also suspended), Alexander Sørloth, Marc Pubill, Pablo Barrios, Jan Oblak, and Rodrigo Mendoza.
