Sun and mild weather before the arrival of new showers

BarcelonaThe weekend has started with weather more typical of the British Isles than of our home, with the passage of a front associated with an Atlantic storm located in the west of the peninsula that leaves rain in many regions from lunchtime. The rain will sweep across the whole country from south to north, especially during the afternoon and evening, but no large accumulations are expected. Sunday will again be dominated by calm and sun, and only a few afternoon showers will fall towards the western half. The temperature will begin to rise from then on.

Sunday: more calm

After the unstable period of Saturday, the weather will change radically and on Sunday we will wake up with much more calm and sun, and with numerous fogs due to the high humidity, although only during the first light of day. It will be a much more pleasant and profitable day everywhere, with plenty of sun and a temperature that will clearly rise. However, in the afternoon new clouds will grow, leaving a more variable sky in general and more sun on the coast. From mid-afternoon and during the evening, new irregular showers and some local thunderstorms will arrive in the regions of Lleida, the Ports, the western Pyrenees and Pre-Pyrenees, and perhaps also in the southern pre-coastal area and the Ebro.

Monday: showers in the Pyrenees

The week will begin with very pleasant weather conditions, still marked by the dominance of sun practically everywhere and with temperatures that will rise a little more. During the afternoon there will be cloudy spells in the Pyrenees, with some showers in this sector of the country and also in the northeast. All in all, however, very little. Maximum temperatures will be around 25 °C to 26 °C in many places, with a typical early May atmosphere.
