Sun and mild weather before the arrival of new showers

BarcelonaThe weekend began with weather more typical of the British Isles than of our home, with the passage of a front associated with an Atlantic low pressure system located in the western peninsula that left rain in many regions during the second half of Saturday, but this situation has changed radically. This Sunday calm and sun will once again dominate and only a few afternoon showers will fall towards the western half. The temperature will begin to rise from then on.

Sunday: more calm

After the unstable period of Saturday, the weather has changed radically and we have woken up with much more calm and sun, and with numerous fogs due to high humidity, although they will disappear during the first hours of daylight. It will be a much more pleasant and profitable day everywhere, with plenty of sun and temperatures that will clearly rise. Even so, in the afternoon new clouds will grow, leaving a more variable sky in general and more sun on the coast. From mid-afternoon and during dusk, new irregular showers and some local storms will arrive in the regions of Lérida, Els Ports, the western Pyrenees and Pre-Pyrenees, and perhaps also in the southern pre-littoral and the Ebro.

Monday: showers in the Pyrenees

The week will begin with a very placid weather situation, still marked by the dominance of sunshine practically everywhere and with temperatures that will rise a little more. During the afternoon there will be cloudiness in the Pyrenees, with some showers in this sector of the country and also in the northeast. All of this, however, very little. The maximums will be around 25 °C to 26 °C in many places, with a typical early May atmosphere.
