More sun and less wind on a Sunday in the middle of autumn
During the morning there will be patches of fog inland
BarcelonaThe weekend began with a change in the weather, accompanied by strong winds, rain (you'll find the highlights of this episode at the end of this report), and noticeably colder temperatures. However, this situation will change dramatically by Sunday, when temperatures will recover slightly, the wind will die down, and the sun will practically dominate. Next week will begin with the same weather pattern, with harmless high clouds in the sky and relatively stable temperatures.
Sunday: Calm returns
The unsettled weather will disappear abruptly on Sunday, bringing a generally sunny and calm day, although there will be fog inland during the early morning hours. This radical change in the weather will make for a pleasant and enjoyable day. The wind will clearly decrease, weakening and concentrating in the Ebro Valley and northern Empordà, where it will lose strength as the day progresses. It will be colder in the early morning, so we should dress warmly, but the highs will rise slightly after a very cloudy Saturday, and the weather will be more pleasant in the middle of the day, with many temperatures between 15 and 20 °C. This stable weather will continue into the beginning of next week, with increasing temperature inversions and morning fog.
Monday: stable weather and high clouds
The week will begin with very stable weather, again with low clouds and morning fog in some Pyrenean valleys, low-lying areas, and other inland regions where this is common. High and mid-level clouds will be present, with no risk of precipitation. Temperatures will remain fairly stable overall, although they may remain somewhat lower in the western part of the country and rise slightly in the rest, with highs between 15 and 21 °C.
