La Meva Salut says goodbye to the password and switches to idCAT Mobile

No more headaches. By January 2027, it will no longer be necessary to remember your password to access La Meva Salut, nor will you have to generate a new one. The personal digital health space will have a new secure and accessible validation system for everyone that will facilitate access in a simple way, through idCAT Mòbil or any admitted identification system.

You will be able to enter La Meva Salut with a password until the beginning of 2027. During the last quarter of 2026, progressively, new passwords will not be able to be created, nor will they be regenerated in case of expiration, loss or forgetting, nor modified.

The migration plan of La Meva Salut users to idCAT Mòbil aims to reinforce the security of access to the platform and, at the same time, facilitate the digital identification of citizens through a simpler and more secure system.

idCAT Mòbil is a secure electronic identification and authentication system, easy to obtain and use, which complies with the necessary registration and security guarantees to access the Administration's digital services.

A simple and secure method

idCAT Mòbil is one of the compatible electronic authentication methods that groups VÀLid, the digital identification and signature service of the Consorci AOC (Open Administration of Catalonia) which unifies access to the procedures of the Catalan public administrations.

Currently, La Meva Salut has approximately 3.8 million unique annual users and almost 6 million registered users. According to 2025 data, the platform registers around 75 million annual sessions. In the last ten years, more than 60 million authentications with idCAT Mòbil have been carried out without any cybersecurity incident.

In La Meva Salut, you can consult the information contained in your personal medical history, resulting from the healthcare received in the centers of the Catalan Health System. The new authentication system reinforces the security and reliability of access to this information, while facilitating digital identification for citizens.

A space at the service of citizens

The migration to idCAT Mòbil will completely replace user and password-based access, with the aim of strengthening the security of La Meva Salut and facilitating access to the personal health space. From this environment, clinical reports, diagnoses, and analysis and test results can be consulted and downloaded, as well as accessing the current medication plan and consulting administered vaccines, among other services.

The platform also allows you to book an appointment at the CAP and consult scheduled visits, as well as obtain information on waiting lists for surgical intervention. One of the most used services is eConsulta, which allows you to non-face-to-face contact with healthcare professionals, carry out procedures, and share health information.

You can also access the advance directives document, consult and answer health questionnaires, and obtain information on different types of donations, including the possibility of becoming an organ and tissue donor. Among other functionalities, La Meva Salut allows you to view and download diagnostic images, digitally sign informed consents, and download your personal clinical history shareable in a coded exchange format, known as "Yellow Button". The platform also provides access to other services from the different providers of the Catalan health system.

The use of idCAT Mòbil to access La Meva Salut offers, in addition to security, simplicity and time savings. The system allows for agile processing of procedures and management with different administrations and is already used by more than 3.5 million people in Catalonia, with security guarantees and no registered incidents.

idCAT Mòbil allows you to identify yourself and sign from any mobile, tablet or computer, without needing to remember any password or PIN or install any program. It is a free system, it does not expire and can be obtained through the internet. As easy as that.
