Adventures that leave a mark: journeys to discover and live unforgettable experiences
The programming of Viatges Eurovacances emphasizes discovering extraordinary destinations in the second half of the year. Asia, America, Africa and Europe hide places where to live incredible experiences
The second half of the year opens as a window to adventure, with a selection of great trips designed for those who want to discover the world with intensity, authenticity, and comfort. From spiritual landscapes in Asia to natural wonders in America, through African safaris and cultural routes in Europe, Viatges Eurovacances's program offers unique experiences for demanding travelers.
Asia: spirituality, exoticism, and fascinating contrasts
The Asian continent continues to be one of the great jewels of our autumn. The agency, which has three offices located in Barcelona, Granollers, and Girona, proposes a tour of northern India. Here we will discover the golden forts of Jaisalmer, which seem to emerge from the sand, the reflections of white palaces in the tranquil lakes of Jodhpur, and, of course, the overwhelming beauty of the Taj Mahal in Agra, among other visits: starting with the vibrant and chaotic Delhi and ending with Varanasi, on the banks of the Ganges, where life and death meet in ancestral rituals.
It also offers us the opportunity to discover Laos and Cambodia, an immersion in millennial temples and serene river landscapes, where we will get to know the tranquil capital of Vientiane, feel the spiritual atmosphere of Luang Prabang, and contemplate the heritage of the splendor of the Khmer Empire in the temples of Angkor Wat, overgrown by the jungle. Or a trip to Indonesia, where we will get to know both its cultural heart, Yogyakarta – from where the majestic temple of Borobudur, a Buddhist jewel, is visited – and the spectacular Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Smoking volcanoes and lunar landscapes that offer unforgettable sunrises, the traditions of the Tana Toraja region, the island of Bali, the home of the famous Komodo dragons in the national park of the same name, the wild landscapes and turquoise waters of Flores...
Other proposals on the Asian continent include Nepal, for lovers of Himalayan culture; Sri Lanka, where ancient cities like Sigiriya or Kandy reveal a rich cultural and spiritual heritage; Malaysia, with its fascinating contrast between modernity (we have in mind the iconic Petronas Towers, a symbol of progress and sophistication) and the wildest nature, which hides extraordinary biodiversity in the jungles of Borneo; and Vietnam, which allows you to discover unique landscapes like Ha Long Bay, where you can have an unforgettable experience sailing on a cruise ship among limestone islets.
Furthermore, we find iconic destinations such as China and Japan, where history and innovation coexist in perfect harmony, as well as a tour of Australia, a unique journey that will take us to discover cities like Melbourne and Sydney, feel the magic of the sacred mountain of Uluru and dive into the crystalline waters of the Great Barrier Reef, among others. A special mention goes to the trip offered this year to discover the islands of French Polynesia by sailing: Moorea, Bora Bora, Tahaa, Raiatea... A dream come true for those seeking nature in its purest state and exclusive experiences.
America: immense landscapes and vibrant cultures
If we take the map, on the American continent Eurovacances proposes a trip to the United States. Here we will discover the metropolis of Chicago, cradle of modern architecture; we will vibrate to the rhythm of jazz in New Orleans; we will immerse ourselves in history at the missions of San Antonio, and we will delve into the world of space exploration at NASA's Space Center in Houston.
The trip to Guatemala will offer us an authentic experience between volcanoes and Mayan culture, with a surprising heritage of humanity such as the Mayan city of Tikal. Further south, in Peru, it proposes a fascinating journey from the magical city of Cusco, ancient capital of the Inca Empire, to the world wonder of Machu Picchu, the immensity of Lake Titicaca with its floating islands, and the spectacular landscapes of the Colca Valley, one of the deepest canyons in the world.
The latest proposal on this continent, taking advantage of the fact that November is spring in the southern hemisphere, is a trip to Patagonia. The imposing landscape of Torres del Paine, the majesty of the Perito Moreno glacier, and the navigation between fjords and austral canals aboard the cruise ship Skorpios on its Kaweskar route make it a journey that will connect us with the purest beauty of the planet.
Africa: the essence of safari
The trip through Southern Africa is much more than an itinerary. Eurovacances' adventure begins in Cape Town, one of the most spectacular cities in the world, surrounded by the ocean and presided over by the majestic Table Mountain. It will also allow us to get to know Johannesburg, the economic heart of the country and a key city for understanding the history of South Africa: we will visit sites linked to the fight against apartheid, with special mention of the figure of Nelson Mandela, who will help us contextualize the country's past and present.
But the great protagonist is nature. In Kruger National Park, we will experience our first safaris, in search of the big five in their natural habitat. The experience is completed at Chobe National Park, in Botswana, known for its large concentration of elephants and for its safaris along the river, which offer a different and fascinating perspective on African wildlife.
The highlight of the trip arrives at Victoria Falls, on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Here we will have a truly unforgettable experience: a helicopter flight that will allow us to contemplate one of the most impressive natural wonders on the planet from a unique perspective. The immensity of the falls, the roar of the water, and the rising mist create a spectacle that is difficult to forget.
Europe: a new look at the Balkans
Even though it is not a long-distance trip, Eurovacances presents us with a notable novelty in Europe: an itinerary through Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country with a special connection to Catalonia. A trip that discovers a region rich in history, with surprising culture and landscapes, still little explored but full of charm. We will fall in love with the Mostar bridge and its history, we will be surprised by the beauty of the Kravice waterfalls, we will explore the green landscapes of Bihac and we will walk through the lively streets of Sarajevo.
An invitation to travel differently
These great trips in the second semester are designed by Viatges Eurovacances with the aim of offering complete experiences, with carefully planned itineraries, selected accommodations, and expert guides. They are proposals designed for traveling with peace of mind, but with the excitement of discovering unique corners of the world.
Now is the time to start dreaming... and to make your next great trip a reality.
